I'm trying to get excited about this.

I KNOW I SHOULD BE MORE EXCITED ABOUT THIS than I am.

OK So I had a little bit of fun on YouTube recently, where this was posted:

And today on the USA site you can see a longer snippet, featuring Goren and Eames going through the motions with a typically recalcitrant 'person of interest.' It seems a tad sluggish, but I am SO DESPERATE for new LOCI that frankly I would be more than happy to watch the Dynamic Duo (??) sitting on bean-bag chairs and discussing foreign economic policy. Plus, VDO and KE look super-HOTT to me.

Can't embed yet, so here is a link:

Snippet of new episode.

Grateful thanks to ladyjudithanne  / judithanne20  for the heads up!

... you wake up one morning, fully dressed, on your couch. The TV has turned itself off and the DVD player is humming quietly on the shelf underneath it. DVD cases of LO:CI seasons one, two and three lie scattered all over the floor.

As you drag yourself back into conciousness you slowly take in more of the situation: Junk food wrappers and crumbs all over the carpet. The phone lying in the corner, off the hook. Perhaps a rather grubby, neglected-looking child/cat/dog in the corner, waiting patiently for you to resurface.

Oh yes. You have to admit it. You have an addiction problem.

Cut for silliness.Collapse )

New episodes of Law & Order: Criminal Intent won't air until summer 2009, according to a USA Network spokesperson, the second such delay in four months. The eighth season was initially scheduled to debut in November 2008, just three months after Season 7 aired. Then, in October, the netlet announced the season would shift to early 2009, presumably January, so they could air all 16 episodes in a row — the same reason they cite for this latest push-back.

Season 8 is notable for its casting changes. Chris Noth (Sex and the City), who played Det. Mike Logan, left the show after three seasons, and has been replaced by the Oscar- and Emmy-nominated actor Jeff Goldblum, who plays Det. Zach Nichols. Preview scenes sent to TV critics in the fall showed that Goldblum's performance departed from the stammering intellectual roles for which he is generally known (The Fly, Independence Day, The Big Chill).

The show's spokesperson said that Goldblum's arrival, however, was not responsible for the delays.

If so, he and his sister are scheduled to be on the Good Things show on ABC4 in Utah.

The announcement was made HERE. I emailed them as the date wasn't included and got a response right back that it would be next Friday, December 12th.

Hopefully either the station's website or someone in the area will post the video for the rest of us :-)

Well, if you are, my talented roomie nnaylime is offering up a personalized video to the auction winner over at livelongnmarry, a fandom fundraiser supporting marriage equality. She's a fantastic vidder -- while she usually works in the BSG fandom, but can do LOCI as she has access to all my LOCI footage. So if you want a LOCI vid made specifically for you, hurry HERE. Besides, it's for a great cause!

Who watched Shark last night?!

First of all: NOOOO. I can't believe they're cancelling it. Can
someone confirm this as being true/false? Sorry for the xp, but I
gotta know if it's true.

Secondly: That band Castaneda that was on last night was so good! I
found their myspace: http://www.myspace.com/castanedaband ... the song they played on the show was called "Pixels".

Anyway, if someone could please verify if Shark getting cancelled is
true or not, please advise. And sorry again for the XP.

i cannot recall her name but det. logan's latest partner doesn't strike me as..well.. old enough for the job. she appears to be in her late twenties/early thirties. or her mannerisms are just very young. can someone even make detective that young?

anyway, i was wondering if anyone else shared this view. it's been bugging me. love the show otherwise. :)
